Living with your friends can be so much fun, and my flat has definitely become a little family! We wanted to celebrate Christmas with each other before we all headed home for the holidays, so we had 'Flatmas'!
I hadn't had a roast dinner since August (shocking I know) so I was so excited. I was charged with cooking the chicken, which was a little daunting to say the least, but luckily I think it turned out well? It tasted good at least!
I never thought I would get emotional about eating a roast potato, but there I was. It was really fun working together to make dinner, we all had our own little jobs, and seeing it come together at the end was so good!
My flatmate Sally also made such an amazing pavalova, it was amazin!
We also arranged a Secret Santa! Being students, it would have been expensive to get everyone in the flat an individual present, so we decided to spend a little bit more on one present for another person in the flat. We picked names out of a hat to decide who was buying for who, and I think it worked really well. I got this beautiful elephant from Lydia- elephants are one of my favourite animals (Ele-anor/ Ele-phant, my younger self was very easily pleased) so I was absolutely thrilled. Thank you Lydia!
